The closest airport is Bergerac (just over an hour away, 31 miles) which is served by Ryanair, Flybe and Jet2 from various UK Airports.
Brive-Souillac airport is about an hour and a half away (51 miles), with CityJet operating regular services from London City Airport and Jet2 from Manchester.
Toulouse Airport is two hours away (70 miles) with daily BA and Easyjet flights from London as well as flights from a number of other UK airports with BMI, Jet2 and Flybe.
There are also flights from the UK to Bordeaux (90 miles), Limoges (85 miles) and Rodez, all of which are about two and a half hours drive.

Marou is a 10 hours drive from the channel ports on excellent autoroutes with numerous stopping points for food/petrol etc.
BY TRAIN
For those who are concerned about the environmental effects of flying, it is possible to take the Eurostar to Paris and then make a leisurely journey down to Gourdon or Cahors. The journey from Paris to Gourdon takes just under 5 hours and is extremely relaxing. Cars can then be hired locally to give you the freedom to explore the area.
Alternatively you could take the Eurostar to Lille and then travel to Bordeaux on the TGV where it is possible to hire a car. The journey from Bordeaux to the house would take about 3 hours.
Rail travel can be planned and booked through Rail Europe.
